Sources of dust can be identified easily
As the entire space is an ISO Class 1, the cause to generate even a little dust can be found easily.
It is possible to identify sources of dust during work
A conventional clean bench which generally has the ISO Class 5 air cleanliness provides a clean air environment compared to the atmosphere, but it is still a space where 0.1μm particles are present at 100,000 particles or less per 1m3. Therefore, it may be difficult to identify the dust source during work. On the other hand, because there are less than 10 particles of 0.1μm per 1m3 in the ISO Class 1 environment formed by the KOACH, a sligt amount of dust can be found easily, and it is possible to easily identify where and at what timing the dust is generated.
Example of a measure against sources of dust
Institute of Food Research, NARO, has been concerned about variations in the analysis results when performing single cell analysis. By using the KOACH as a countermeasure against contamination, it has succeeded in identifying the source of dust and designing a layout that will not affect the experiment. As a result, it has obtained an environment where stable experimental results can be achieved.
